In September, 2010, Healthcare and Family Services (HFS) issued an Informational Notice to Hospital Administrators regarding Long Term Acute Care Hospital Quality Improvement Transfer Program Act. Click here to go to the Act.
A provision of the Act requires mandatory concurrent review of all LTAC admissions for those covered under HFS Medical Program. All LTAC admissions on and after October 1, 2010 are subject to mandatory concurrent review.

HFS Announces Six New Codes

In observance of Memorial Day, our office will be closed Monday, May 27, 2013. Please continue to submit your review requests online.
Our policy for short-stays of 3 days or less, post-discharge remains the same for this long holiday weekend. Detox stays must be submitted via Web or called in May 28th.
